Create and edit waiver templates

Your studio starts with a tattoo waiver. If you offer piercing or laser, you can use the tattoo template for those services or create a separate template for each craft.

1. First turn on Piercing or Laser under Settings → Services we offer. Their waiver tabs then appear in Waiver templates.
2. Open Settings → Waiver templates and choose the Tattoo, Piercing, or Laser tab.
3. For a new piercing or laser template, choose Create from tattoo to adapt your existing form, or Start from defaults. Until you create an active craft template, that craft uses the tattoo waiver.
4. Review the template overview, then edit its health questions and consent questions. Use the preview to see what a client will be asked.
5. Select Save waiver template after changing a section. Saving a question alone does not save the whole template.

Keep questions relevant to the work your studio performs. If a signed answer needs staff review, the waiver appears in the client or Today readiness flow for a clearance decision. Review the final wording with the person responsible for your studio's consent process before using it with clients.
